Homework is study every day at home.
In 5th Grade, it is expected that students complete about 50 minutes of homework each day. This is to help establish study routines in preparation for Middle School next year. There will be a spelling test on Fridays and Reading Quizzes every time your child finishes reading an AR listed book. |
Why do we memorize Bible Verses? The Bible is a collection of books including stories from history and proverbs written by wise prophets. Memorizing verses from the Bible can provide us with a guide to making wise choices in our lives and help us get to know the God of the universe.

A note about Spelling Homework
Making spelling homework fun is important because learning English spelling takes effort and can be difficult. Here are some ideas for making it more enjoyable for students and their parents! Please limit each homework task to 10 minutes a day using a timer. This will ensure that the task is short and sweet.
